Guidelines for customized imprints

Please meet the following guidelines to ensure a satisfactory result. The customer shall cover extra effort and, consequently, extra costs incurred by desired deviations. Please refer to the individual quote for prices and terms.

Pad printing

We require from you:

A file:
You give us a file and we order the production of the films.
Vector graphic file in eps or ps format (Mac or PC).
Please specify colors with the appropriate Pantone color numbers.
The logo/label should be in original size.

Or:

A film:
The film must not be screened.
Each color to be printed shall be on the film in black.
The template shall be an offset film.
The film shall be polychrome matte PQM 4483.
The black ratio of the film shall be at least 3.5 log D.
A black ratio of 4 to 5 log D is preferable.

Thermotransfer printing

We require from you:

A file:
A file in jpg, pdf, tiff or eps format (Mac or PC).
Please specify colors with the appropriate Pantone color numbers.
The logo/label in original size.
All fonts used shall be embedded in the file or provided as separate files.

Please note:
When thermotransfer printing on front and back, parallel printing is not possible. The print is not identical on both sides (i.e. a logo or label may be cut on one side because it is printed offset to the other side).
The original ribbon is pure white (nothing printed). The following applies for multicolor printing:
Each individual color (except for white) on the ribbon and the logo shall be listed as a color. Shades are possible.

Weaving

We require from you:

A file:
A file in jpg, pdf, tiff or eps format (Mac or PC).
Please specify colors with the appropriate Pantone color numbers.
The logo/label in original size.
All fonts used shall be embedded in the file or provided as separate files.

Please note:
Logos can be woven on one side only. On the ribbon back, the logo is visible mirror-inverted.
Only two colors are feasible.
For the weaving, white is a separate color (for logo and on ribbon).
Maximum logo size is 15 mm.
